Just home from the Tweed Valley Enduro Long Weekend with MTB Beds. Wow what a weekend. Epic riding, superb guides, great accommodation and some more epic riding. A superb intro to the Tweed Valley and the riding on offer at Glentress, The Golfie and Innerleithen. Rich and The MTB Beds team are superb - helpful, knowledgeable and responsive and Murray and the Team at Glentress Hotel were brilliant. Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant experience. The accommodation (Ravenscraig guest house) and food was spot on for both quality and the location. Bike security and facilities for wash and repair was excellent. Our guide, Mike Wilkes couldn’t have done a better job of informing and including all the riders in our group. The routes ticked all the boxes and the trails and views will be memories to last a lifetime. Bought the ticket, had a great ride😁👍

Fantastic week of riding in Finale Ligure. Top class guiding, excellent hosting, nothing was too much trouble for the MTB Beds team. Will definitely use again.

Seven days of guided mountain biking through one of the most spectacular corners of the Alps. Based in Canazei, at the heart of the Val di Fassa, this trip takes in the legendary Sellaronda, lift-served bike park laps, high alpine ridgelines and natural trails used by the Enduro World Series, all set beneath the jagged limestone peaks of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Program & Sample Itinerary

Day 1 — Saturday: Arrival & Warm-Up

Fly into Venice and wind your way north through the foothills and into Canazei, your base for the week beneath the Sella and Marmolada groups. Once bikes are built and dialled, there's time for a short local spin to shake off the travel and get your bearings before the week ahead really begins.

Day 2 — Sunday: Val di Fassa Enduro
20-25 km ridden · ~2,000-2,500 m downhill (lift-assisted) · multiple lifts

Straight into it. Lifts do the hard work, you do the fun part, lapping flowing bike park runs and natural enduro trails through the forests above Canazei. It's the ideal first proper day, technical enough to sharpen you up, forgiving enough to build confidence for what's coming.

Day 3 — Monday: Marmolada Panorama Tour
35 km · ~1,000 m uphill (mostly lift-assisted) · ~1,800-2,000 m downhill · 2 lifts

The Porta Vescovo cable car lifts you almost 900 metres in one go onto the Padon ridge, and suddenly the whole Marmolada glacier is laid out in front of you across Lake Fedaia. This is the Dolomites at their most cinematic, high alpine singletrack with views that stop conversation, before a long, gravity-fed descent back down to the valley.

Day 4 — Tuesday: Sellaronda Clockwise
58 km · 450 m uphill · 3,800 m downhill · 7 lifts

The big one. A full loop of the Sella massif using seven lifts to link four mountain passes and four valleys, riding through the famous Citta dei Sassi beneath Sassolungo, past Corvara and Arabba, with the Marmolada glacier watching over the whole route. Six hours, one bike, one of the most complete mountain days in the Alps.

Day 5 — Wednesday: Rest & Recovery / Easy Alpine Ride

Legs get a say in this one. Take the spa, go for a hike, or if you can't quite sit still, join an optional relaxed e-MTB spin around Sassolungo and Val Duron. Either way, tonight's dinner tastes better for it.

Day 6 — Thursday: Val di Fassa Enduro Finale
20-25 km ridden · ~2,000-2,500 m downhill (lift-assisted) · multiple lifts

Your guide has spent the week reading the group, and this is where that pays off, a hand-picked run of the best trails and descents ridden so far, plus a few that have been kept in reserve. Consider it the week's highlight reel, stitched into one final enduro day.

Day 7 — Friday: Sassolungo & Val Duron Alpine Explorer
36 km · 800 m uphill · 1,300 m downhill · 1-2 lifts

A proper send-off. Lifts to Col Rodella and a pass by Rifugio Comici set up a sweeping traverse beneath the Sassolungo massif, through Monte Pana and Zallinger, before the long, beautiful descent through Val Duron back to Campitello. Big scenery, smart use of lifts, legs saved for the flight home.

Day 8 — Saturday: Departure

Breakfast, goodbyes, and the transfer back to Venice Airport, already planning the next trip.

Room Arrangement + Single Supplement

The rooms are Twin rooms, comprising two single beds, and all are ensuite rooms. There can be triple rooms. The tour price is based on two people sharing a room. If you would like a single-occupancy room, we can source a single-occupancy supplement price. Expect to pay an additional £350 - £550 per week.

Flights & Transfers

Airport: Venice Marco Polo (VCE) is the recommended airport for this trip.

Transfer time: Approximately 180 km from the airport to Canazei, around 2.5–3 hours by road depending on traffic and time of year.

Check before you book: Please don't book flights until you've confirmed your arrival and departure times with us. Inbound flights should land by 6pm at the latest, and outbound flights should depart no earlier than 10am, to fit our scheduled transfer windows.

Fitness — 2*
Skills and Technical ability — 2*
Riding Style — Alpine Singletrack / Lift-Assisted Adventure
*Essential

The riding standard and fitness level required for this tour is confident intermediate. This is not only for your enjoyment and personal safety, but it is also for the group as a whole. The riding covers natural alpine singletrack and well maintained trail networks, with some technical sections, roots, rocks and exposed high-altitude terrain, all made easier by extensive use of lifts.

The Sellaronda day is the longest and most demanding on the trip, covering 58km and using seven lifts across a full mountain day, with some technical descents that require good bike handling.
