Specialized Enduro 29er

Is this the best all-around rental bike in Morzine? It just might be. Pinkbike certainly thought so when they reviewed it against other class-leading bikes last year in a field test. The all-mountain weapon, the fun machine, the do it all rig, basically the bike everyone subconsciously means when they say 'a downhill bike that can pedal'. With angles remaining friendly for all-day epic pedals, this may be the best rental bike available anywhere, yes we are biased but listen to the reviews if you still have doubts.

The 2023 edition of the Enduro builds on the success this bike had on release in previous years with an amazing spec sheet straight out of the box, the suspension platform should be familiar to those of you who follow the World Cup, sharing the same DNA as the Demo race bike Loic Bruni and Finn Illes pilot to the podium almost every round. With it's rearward axle path this thing eats up bumps, in fact, most forks would struggle to keep up with the performance, fortunately, these are specced with the incredible new Fox 38's. The innovative SWAT and Conceal Carry systems give that extra level of freedom with onboard storage and tools for on-the-fly repairs.

BUILD KIT: Built with a Sram GX eagle drivetrain, Descendent cranks and Hayes Dominion brakes with 220mm/200mm rotors as standard, we've bolted on all the best bits from our partners Deity Components. Bring your own pedals or take a set of One Up Components flats to blow your mind on what a nylon pedal feels like. The suspension is looked after by Rockshox with the Zeb and Super Deluxe coil platforms. For the full spec list click here.

SIZING: Sizing can be subjective, so Specialized use a unique system in place of the traditional small, medium, large or XL, consider your height and how nimble or stable you want the bike to feel.

INCHES CM SIZE

5'8" - 6'2" 173 - 188 S4

Can I hire a Specialized if I haven't booked through Atlas Ride Co?

If we cannot help with your accommodation, it is not possible, we are not able to offer our bikes to the general public.

You should consider local shops, which we would be more than happy to put you in touch with.

Do Atlas Ride Co only hire Enduro 29ers?

Yes.

We'd encourage you to try one, especially in Finale Ligure, the extra rolling speed is incredible and we don't think the Enduro is too much of a monster truck to not be nimble.

If you want to hire a 27.5" or mullet, you'll need to ask us at the bottom of the page and we can look at other hire options from our partner shops.

Do Atlas Ride Co hire E-Bikes?

Yes, we we have Specialized Turbo Levo's and Levo SL models available. Drop us an email on info@atlasrideco.com

Is there a minimum hire period?

The minimum hire period is 2 days, please note we do not accept bookings from the same client in blocks of 2 days or more.

eg. Over 6 days we would not accept a booking of 2 and 3 days, as due to the nature of our rental bike offering, this bike would not be available for rental on the day not booked, as we are not open to public bookings, only clients renting with us.

Example pricing with our sliding scale;

2 day and 3 day rental £375

6 day rental £395

The extra day would cost £20

Frequently asked questions

Are your hire bikes serviced regularly?

Absolutely. Every bike is professionally inspected, serviced and maintained throughout the season. We also ask guests to return their bike every few days for a quick mechanical check to ensure everything continues performing perfectly.

Can beginners hire your bikes?

Yes. Whether it's your first mountain bike holiday or you've ridden Morzine for years, we'll make sure you're on the right bike and offer setup advice before you head out onto the trails.

Can I collect my hire bike on the day I arrive?

Yes. We'll arrange a convenient collection time, complete your bike setup and make sure everything is adjusted before you head out for your first ride.

Can I hire a bike if I'm not staying with Atlas Ride Co?

Our bike hire fleet is reserved exclusively for Atlas Ride Co holiday guests. This allows us to maintain the bikes to an exceptionally high standard while guaranteeing availability for our customers.

Can I hire an e-bike for the whole week?

Yes. E-bikes can be hired for multiple days or your entire holiday, subject to availability. We recommend booking early during peak summer weeks.

Can I hire helmets and protective equipment?

Yes. We offer Fox helmets, armour and protective equipment together with Five Ten riding shoes, allowing you to travel lighter without compromising on safety.

Can I ride the whole Portes du Soleil on a Specialized Enduro?

Absolutely. The Specialized Enduro is one of the most versatile bikes available for Morzine, equally at home on Pleney downhill tracks, Super Morzine flow trails, Châtel jump lines and natural enduro adventures across the Portes du Soleil.

Can I use my own pedals?

Yes. We recommend bringing your own pedals so your hire bike feels familiar from the first run. Our mechanic will happily fit them during your bike setup.

Can I use my own saddle?

Yes. If you have a preferred saddle, we can fit it to your hire bike during collection.

Do I need insurance to hire a bike?

Yes. You must have suitable holiday or bike insurance that covers rental bikes. Hirers are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear, including crash damage.

Do you hire downhill bikes?

Our fleet focuses on premium Specialized Enduro bikes because they are the most versatile option for Morzine. They are capable of handling the bike parks while still being comfortable enough for natural trails and all-day adventures across the Portes du Soleil.

Do you hire e-MTBs in Morzine?

Yes. We offer Specialized Turbo Levo and Turbo Levo SL electric mountain bikes. E-MTBs are ideal for riders wanting to explore natural trails, tackle big alpine days or simply ride further with less climbing effort.

Is there a deposit for bike hire?

Yes. A booking deposit secures your bike reservation, with the remaining balance payable before collection. Passport and credit card details are also required for the duration of the hire.

Is there a minimum hire period?

Yes. The minimum hire period is two days. Longer rentals offer significantly better value and are recommended for most riders visiting Morzine.

Should I hire an enduro bike or an e-bike?

If your holiday will mainly focus on lift-assisted riding and bike parks, an enduro bike is the perfect choice. If you're planning longer natural rides, exploring away from the lifts or tackling big alpine climbs, an e-MTB offers outstanding versatility.

Should I wear a full-face helmet in Morzine?

For lift-assisted riding and bike park trails, a full-face helmet is strongly recommended. Many riders also choose to wear knee pads, elbow pads and body armour for additional protection.

What happens if my hire bike develops a problem?

Our mechanic is on hand throughout your holiday to deal with adjustments, maintenance and unexpected mechanical issues, helping keep you riding with minimal downtime.

What information do I need when booking?

We'll need your Atlas Ride Co accommodation details, the lead booking name, your travel dates, preferred bike size and a passport and credit card for security purposes.

Why hire a bike instead of bringing my own?

Hiring a bike removes the hassle of travelling with your own. There's no airline bike fees, no risk of transport damage and no time spent rebuilding your bike after travelling. Your bike will be fully prepared and ready to ride when you arrive.

Why hire from Atlas Ride Co instead of a bike shop?

Unlike many bike shops, your hire bike is prepared by mechanics who know exactly where you'll be riding. We'll help with setup, trail recommendations, mechanical support throughout the week and ongoing bike checks to keep everything performing perfectly.

Will my hire bike be set up for me?

Yes. Before you ride, one of our experienced mechanics will help set up your suspension, tyre pressures, controls and cockpit position to suit your height, weight and riding style.
