MTB Beds - La Thuile - Aosta Moon Dust

La Thuile is on every enduro riders must do tick list, chairlift accessed, natural gnar. If you haven't ridden there you want to, if you have you want to go back. Aostan moon dust covers the rocks, roots and usually all your kit, after a day shredding here you smile through gritted, sandy teeth. La Thuile has plenty to offer if you get on the pedals as well, with epic descents littered across the valley. This little gem of the Aosta Valley provides Ying to Pila's Yang and the perfect fodder before getting into the wild Aosta backcountry.

Drifty Moon Dust Explosions in Italy

Pila, Italy is one of those places you need to ride your DH bike at least once in this life. It's unreal! Also a blast on the trail bikes, follow a day out with Deaks, Ben, Sean and Daniele in Summer 2018.

The Aosta Valley is a vast area of significant beauty. For us it's all about bikes but this region is simply stunning to experience without them. Take it in and make sure you tick this bucket list destination off in your lifetime. Filmed for MTB Beds by Scott Windsor / Scott Windsor Films

Pila Track Check Videos

Desarpa is accessed by the Couis 1 chairlift in Pila. Only open for a short period each summer, it's a natural zone that descends from 2600m to Pila village. An awesome range of terrain, with open alpine sections to technical rock gardens to forest single track, it's challenging and tough in equal measure. If you want truly epic and heights aren't a problem, you can access the trail from the ridge line from the right hand side of the chairlift. If you like your trails natural, you know what to do!

La Thuile Track Check Videos

P trail, or La Tour, works it's way from the top and directly under the Chalet Express Chairlift. Starting on a rocky out crop and dropping into some classic La Thuile alpine singletrack. It descends through the entire resort, popping out in a small hamlet just above the village itself. Encompassing what makes La Thuile great in one trail, it's long and fast with plenty of technicality. Rocks and roots litter the trail, wether it be on the open alpine sections or the loamy woodland in the middle, it's an absolute hoot. Definitely not smooth or bike park, it's all natural!
