The Portes du Soleil MTB lift pass gives mountain bikers access to one of the largest lift-assisted riding areas in Europe, linking Morzine with Avoriaz, Les Gets, Châtel and riding areas across the border in Switzerland.
For most riders spending several days in Morzine, the full Portes du Soleil pass is the best option. One pass allows you to move around the network using the bike-friendly lifts, opening up everything from fast bike park laps to huge days exploring multiple resorts.
If you're staying with Atlas Ride Co, we can arrange your lift pass at our preferential guest rates. Our prices include the €3 hands-free card and your pass can be issued at your accommodation, so you can avoid the ticket-office queue and get straight onto the lifts.

What does the Portes du Soleil MTB Lift pass cover
The full Portes du Soleil MTB lift pass is the pass we recommend for most riders visiting Morzine. It gives you access to the participating mountain bike lifts across the French and Swiss sides of the Portes du Soleil, allowing you to explore a huge variety of riding without buying separate passes as you move around the area.
From Morzine you can access Morzine and Super Morzine, Avoriaz, Les Gets, Châtel, Lindarets, Morgins, Champéry, Les Crosets and Mossettes, subject to the individual lifts and connections being open on the dates you visit.
That freedom is a big part of what makes a Morzine mountain bike holiday so good. You can spend one day riding Pleney and Les Gets, another heading through Super Morzine towards Avoriaz and Châtel, and another exploring the Swiss side of the Portes du Soleil.
If you're travelling in June or September, some areas open or close earlier than others. Check our Morzine MTB lift opening dates before travelling for the latest 2026 opening and closing dates across the network.
Which Morzine MTB lift pass should I buy?
If you're coming to Morzine for a normal week-long mountain bike holiday, the 6-day Portes du Soleil MTB pass is our recommendation. It gives you six full riding days and is ideal for a typical Saturday-to-Saturday stay.
If you're staying for a shorter trip, 3, 4 and 5-day passes are available. There is also a 5-day non-consecutive pass, which is a useful option if you want to build a rest day, bad-weather day or another activity into your week without wasting one of your lift days.
Short-duration and individual lift options are also available for riders who only plan to use the lifts occasionally. However, if you're coming to Morzine specifically for lift-assisted mountain biking and want to explore beyond a single hill, the full Portes du Soleil pass gives you far more freedom.
