Just home from the Tweed Valley Enduro Long Weekend with MTB Beds. Wow what a weekend. Epic riding, superb guides, great accommodation and some more epic riding. A superb intro to the Tweed Valley and the riding on offer at Glentress, The Golfie and Innerleithen. Rich and The MTB Beds team are superb - helpful, knowledgeable and responsive and Murray and the Team at Glentress Hotel were brilliant. Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant experience. The accommodation (Ravenscraig guest house) and food was spot on for both quality and the location. Bike security and facilities for wash and repair was excellent. Our guide, Mike Wilkes couldn’t have done a better job of informing and including all the riders in our group. The routes ticked all the boxes and the trails and views will be memories to last a lifetime. Bought the ticket, had a great ride😁👍

hotel fleur des neiges with swimming pool in morzine

Hotel Fleur de Neiges is a super Morzine Summer Hotel and offers a lot more than it appears from the outside and is jam-packed with facilities, most importantly a SWIMMING POOL! This is not the only amazing facility this hotel offers with secure bike storage, a jet wash area, and a mechanics bench with tools.

Another advantage to Hotel Fleur des Neiges this property is its ample parking, we know a lot of you like to drive down to Morzine so you can bring your spares, wet weather gear and favourite snacks. This is the perfect spot for visiting Morzine for amazing events like the Passportes du Soleil or Les Gets World Cup, accommodation for those short trips to Morzine is covered!

Frequently asked questions

Are the bunk beds in the triple and quad rooms okay for adults?

Worth flagging honestly here: the bunk beds fitted into the triple and quad rooms are on the smaller side and we wouldn't recommend them for fully grown adults. They're fine for kids or younger teens travelling with the family, but if everyone in your group is an adult, a twin or double room each, or a mix of doubles across a couple of rooms, is going to be a comfier option. Our team can talk you through the best room combination for your group when you book.

Can Atlas Ride Co help with bike hire, guiding or day trips from the hotel?

Definitely, and this is where staying with us rather than booking the hotel independently pays off. We can sort specialised bike hire, arrange guiding or coaching if you want to get the most out of your riding, and put together day trips out to other resorts across the Portes du Soleil. Our team is based nearby at Chalet Chapelle too, so there's always someone close by for mechanical help, bookings or general advice, plus partner discounts with brands like Specialized, Peaty's, OneUp and Yellow Jersey to make the trip even better value.

Can I do my own bike maintenance while I'm staying there?

You can. Alongside the bike storage and wash area, there's a mechanics bench with tools on hand at the hotel, so if you're handy with a multi-tool and want to sort a gear adjustment, bleed a brake or just give your bike a once-over between rides, you've got the space and kit to do it. If anything's beyond a quick fix, our Atlas Ride Co team is based nearby and can help out with mechanics too.

Does the room rate include breakfast?

Yes, Hotel Fleur Des Neiges is run on a bed and breakfast basis, so breakfast each morning is included in your room rate. It's a solid way to start before a day of riding, and after that you're free to explore Morzine's restaurants and bars for lunch and dinner, or grab supplies and self-cater if you'd rather keep costs down.

How close is the hotel to the lifts in Morzine?

Really close. From the hotel it's about two minutes on the bike to the Super Morzine lift, and only another minute or so on to Le Pleney, so you can be pedalling from your door and on the lift in next to no time. That kind of proximity makes a real difference when you're trying to squeeze in an extra lap before dinner.

How does booking work, and what deposit do I need to pay?

To secure your dates at Hotel Fleur Des Neiges we take a 30% deposit at the time of booking, and it's worth knowing upfront that this deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is then due 8 weeks before you arrive. Minimum stay lengths apply too, generally 3 nights in August and 2 nights across June, July and September, so it's worth checking those against your travel dates when you enquire.

How far is it into Morzine town centre?

It's an easy five-minute walk into the centre of Morzine, so you've got restaurants, bars, shops and the rest of the resort within easy reach on foot. The hotel itself sits on a side street just off one of the town's main roads, so you get that central convenience without the traffic noise right outside your window.

Is Hotel Fleur Des Neiges a good option for families?

It works well for families, yes. The triple and quad rooms with their extra bunk beds are designed with exactly this in mind, giving parents and kids their own sleeping space within one room, and the pool and garden give younger ones somewhere to burn off energy that isn't just the bike park. Just bear in mind the bunks suit kids better than adults, so let us know your family's ages and we can help pick the right room mix.

Is parking available at the hotel?

There's ample parking at Hotel Fleur Des Neiges, which is handy if you're driving down with your own bikes, spares and gear rather than flying in. If you've got specific requirements around parking, such as space for a bike box or trailer, it's worth flagging when you book so our team can confirm the details for you.

Is there a tourist tax to pay locally?

Yes, as with most accommodation in Morzine, there's a local tourist tax of €1.70 per person per night, which is paid directly at the hotel rather than being included in your booking price. It's a small amount but worth factoring in and having some euros on hand for when you check in.

Is there secure bike storage and a bike wash at the hotel?

Yes, this is one of the reasons we like this hotel for bike trips. There's secure bike storage on site so you're not hauling your bike up to your room or worrying about it overnight, plus a dedicated jet wash area so you can rinse the mud off before you even think about bringing kit indoors. It's a proper setup rather than an afterthought.

What else is there to use at the hotel besides the bike facilities?

There's more here than just a bed and a bike shed. Guests have access to a swimming pool, a sauna, a balcony, a garden with a BBQ, and a bar inside the hotel itself, plus wi-fi throughout and towels and linen provided as standard. It means you can properly switch off after a day on the mountain without needing to leave the building.

What room types do you have at the hotel and how many people do they sleep?

There's a good spread to suit different group sizes. Singles are available for solo riders, twin or double rooms for couples or pairs of mates, a triple room with a double bed plus small bunk beds, and a quad room with a double or twin bed plus small bunks for slightly bigger groups. Prices start from £52.50 per night, with the room types themselves ranging up from around £90 for a single to £210 for the quad, so there's flexibility whether you're travelling alone or with a small crew.

What's the difference between staying at the hotel versus one of your catered chalets?

Hotel Fleur Des Neiges runs on a bed and breakfast basis, so you get your room and breakfast sorted each morning, then you're free to eat out or self-cater the rest of the day, which suits people who want more flexibility with evenings than a set chalet dinner time allows. It also works well if you're a smaller party or a solo traveller, since you're not taking on a whole chalet. If you'd rather have meals cooked for you and more of a house-party feel, our catered chalets are the better fit, but for a straightforward, sociable base right by the lifts, the hotel is hard to beat.

Why choose Hotel Fleur Des Neiges for a mountain bike trip to Morzine?

We put guests here because it ticks every box a biking trip needs without any of the faff. You're two minutes on the bike from the Super Morzine lift and just another minute on to Le Pleney, yet you're also a five-minute walk from the middle of town, so you get lift access and a proper night out without having to choose between the two. Add in secure bike storage, a jet wash area and a mechanics bench with tools right there at the hotel, and it's set up properly for riders rather than being a normal hotel that happens to allow bikes.

Would this suit a group of mates or a solo rider heading out on their own?

Both, actually. Solo riders can book a single room and still be right in the thick of it, two minutes from the lifts and a short walk from the bars in town, while groups of friends can spread across twin, triple and quad rooms and still end up under one roof. We see everything from lone riders here for a week to full crews down for events like the Pass'Portes du Soleil or the Les Gets World Cup, and the hotel handles both comfortably.
