From humble beginnings in 2012 Atlas Ride Co now provides some of the most exciting downhill, enduro and adventure mountain bike holidays available anywhere in the World. From the bikes parks of Morzine and the Portes du Soleil, to the technical single track of Finale Ligure and the high alpine of Aosta, there is something for everyone.
We are looking for a bookings and admin team member based in Morzine who will develop quickly in an office manager. The right candidate will be about more then dotting i's and crossing t's, they will be expected to use their own initiative and constantly be looking for new efficiencies, possibilities and avenues for the business to develop. They will not only have the ability to be diligent and thorough in their daily tasks, but also challenge with their own ideas, be able to work with and contribute to a team.
Job Purpose:
We are currently seeking to recruit a team member for Bookings and Admin, to develop quickly into an office manager. Based in Morzine. You will be responsible for bookings, inbox management, phone, invoicing and payments at first, before moving into a role encompassing more responsibility including accounts and HR, aswell as various administration tasks during the working week. You will work alongside the owners of the business, resort managers and liaising with an office team based in the UK.
Job Specification
Initial Responsibilities
- Manage daily emails processing present and future reservations
- Answer and manage phone enquiries
- Process bookings and input details/rates using our in house system
- Manage sales and purchase invoices and receipts using online software
- Build custom quote for bespoke trips based on enquiries
- Produce accurate weekly documents/reports for European operations
- General admin tasks including processing deposits/refunds
- Negotiate compensations and cancellation charges when needed
- Learn information and expand your knowledge of all MTB Beds destinations
- Prioritise workload according to deadlines
Responsibilities as Office Manager
- All of the above
- Entirely responsible for your department
- Human Resources, including but not limited to the all admin based components of personnel such as employment contracts, medical, pensions, visa and work permits
- Ensuring the companies social declarations are up to date and correct
- Invoice filing and reporting once invoices have been checked by relevant departments
- Providing new insight and presenting new opportunities to the business
- Managing and delegating admin tasks across the team

Required Experience/Knowledge
Essential
- Passion for the great outdoors, mountain bikes and action sports
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and French
- An excellent understanding of the French employment and social security system
- Sound knowledge of Google Drive
- Previous experience within the travel/hospitality industry, or admin/retail/logistics experience will be considered
Desirable
- Italian helpful
- Knowledge of Xero / Stripe accounting software
- Knowledge of European mountain bike and ski destinations
- Previous experience within Operations/Reservations
